Green Thumb Garden Club Meets June 9

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Collegedale/Ooltewah will meet Monday, June 9, at 7 p.m. (door opens 6:45 p.m.) at Chestnut Hall (in the Commons), at 4950 Swinyar Drive, Collegedale. 
 
The presenter is Master Gardener Carol Matthews, whose topic is "Methods and Reasons for Preserving Produce."  She will also tell us about equipment needed and timing of harvest.
 
First-time visitors are free.  Membership is $15 yearly per person or $25 yearly per couple or family. 
 
There will be refreshments and door prizes.
