Michael Ernest Senters
Michael Ernest Senters, 69, went to be with his Lord from his home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
Born on January 13, 1956, Michael was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend. He was preceded in death by his father, Avery Senters; his mother, Rosemary Senters; and his brother, Kenny Senters.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Senters; his son, Christopher Senters; daughter, Sara Senters; and stepson, Dustin Wright. He also leaves behind his siblings Dania (Steve) Taylor and Cindy Facchini, along with many cherished nieces and nephews.
Michael was a proud graduate of Chattanooga State, where he earned his Associate of Science degree. Throughout his career, he was a valued and respected contributor to several employers in the Chattanooga area.
At home, Michael found great joy in working on house projects, listening to good music, and supporting his favorite teams—the Tennessee Volunteers and the Atlanta Braves. A dedicated viewer of Fox News, he stayed engaged with current events and the world around him. Above all, he deeply loved his family and treasured time spent with them.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 26, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 27, at 2 p.m. at the North Chapel with Pastor Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
