Preston Seth Evans entered this world on Jan 8, 1999. A ball of energy, at a young age he could be found swinging from limbs in a tall tree, skimming flag poles, balancing and walking fences, running atop roofs. One never knew from where Preston would ascend. He was a natural gymnast with a knack for doing back flips. Legos were his passion and he was a master at the most difficult project. At three he donned a helmet and with his dad’s mentoring began riding a dirt bike. No doubt, he could have made a career out of dirt biking with his amazing balance and precision. He also mastered driving a car at a young age of nine…managing to horrify his Mimi when he took off driving the family car.

Preston was a favorite among the cousins and was a cherished attendee at the yearly family gatherings. When his sister Peyton Carli arrived two years after his birth, Preston became her number one play mate and best friend for life.

Preston started pumping concrete with his dad at age eight, and continued the rest of his life. He loved to pump. With work ethic in his DNA, Preston developed a successful lawn mowing business on the side.

Most important Preston accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and rededicated his life to the Lord in his early 20s. He sought to surround himself with friends who shared a similar faith and frequently shared his faith with others.

Preston is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Jennifer and sister Peyton Carli Ferguson (Noah). Preston was the cherished grandson of Frank and Nancy Evans and NT and Joyce Campbell. He leaves behind uncles, Frankie Evans (Carol) and, Greg Evans (Denise) aunts, Tami Switzer (Stuart) Nanette Phillips, Suzi Marletta (Dino), Brittany Moncrief (Jimmy) and multiple cousins who adored him.

A celebration of life for Preston will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, at Northside Calvary Chapel, 8615 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
