Bonnie Sue Forgey Green, 89, of Harrison, Tennessee, was born on July 7, 1935, and was welcomed into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Aubrey “Buddy” Green; parents, Ross and Bertha Forgey, and daughter, Lori Pickett.

Bonnie is survived by her grandchildren, Holli (Michael) Gill and Jillian (Ross) Achata; great-grandchildren, Lilli (Kyle) Murphy, Mikayla and Coltyn Gill; special friend, James Killian, and all those who simply know her as Granny.

Bonnie was one of 11 children, born into the Baptist faith, and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Tyner High School and went on to work for Hamilton County, then later Erlanger Medical Center. She will be remembered for her warmth, her devotion to her faith and her family, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 16, from 4–8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Jack Rinks and Pastor Steve Granger officiating.

Bonnie will be laid to rest in Old McDonald Cemetery with her husband Aubrey “Buddy”.
