The North Georgia Duo of Billy Holland and Jason Pendley, AKA Grillbilly's BBQ Team, finished fifth overall in The Honeybee Festival BBQ Classic - Backyard Division - Saturday in LaFayette, GA.
Mr. Hollands' Pork Spare Ribs placed seventh and Mr. Pendley's Chicken entry was scored "perfect" by the table of six judges.
For his effort, Mr. Pendley was awarded the prestigeous 180 Pin from The Kansas City BBQ Society that recognizes a perfect score in a protein category.
