Hamilton Medical Center is inviting community members to participate in CultureFest on Thursday, June 5 from 1-5 p.m. at the lower level of the Hamilton parking deck on the corner of Broadrick Drive and Memorial Drive.

Officials said, "CultureFest is a day of celebration, education and unity to embrace the event’s theme of 'The Color of Inclusive Care.' It is dedicated to acknowledging barriers to health equity, celebrating cultures and fostering inclusive care for all. The festival will bring together healthcare professionals, local organizations and community members to promote quality care and access to care within reasonable time frames."

The event will feature:
• Vendors that highlight the traditions and perspectives of different cultures;
• Inclusive care information – healthcare professionals, local advocacy groups and community partners hosting interactive booths to share resources and education; and
• Food trucks featuring international and cultural cuisines (for purchase), reflecting the diverse backgrounds of the community.

“We hope you’ll join us as we celebrate our unique differences and our various healthcare needs, and provide information on healthcare services and advocacy programs in our community,” said Star Lackey, Inclusive Care and Patient Relations manager.
