The National Society of Colonial Dames of America-Tennessee congratulates Shanina Dong, of The Baylor School, and Ellie Lee, of Girls Preparatory School, in Chattanooga for winning the National Congressional Seminar Essay Contest.
The two have been selected for an all expenses paid trip to study at the Washington Workshops Seminar in Washington DC. The seminar will be held on June 23-27.
"For the past 47 years, the NSCDA has underwritten this national essay contest with the mission of encouraging students from across the United States to gain a greater understanding of our shared American origins and the importance of civic duty," officials said.
This year, students were asked to explain whether existing defamation and liable laws are or are not sufficient to prohibit baseless AI generated and distributed content.
The NSCDA will continue to offer this opportunity to all high school students in Tennessee on an annual basis each fall semester. For more information regarding this contest, text [email protected].
